Beth Bloom to Present on Zoom Jury Selection at the Ninth Circuit Chief Judges Conference

In February 2021, Beth Bloom will present at the Ninth Circuit Chief Judges Conference on the topic “Zoom Jury Selection.” Her presentation will address a variety of issues, and includes data showing reluctance from judges and lawyers to participate in remote trials, with the citation of logistical concerns as the primary reason. Beth will also provide practical information on how to overcome the logistical concerns, including what baseline technology to use and how to communicate with jurors and provide them with rules of conduct.
