Beth Bloom Selected to Participate in Remote Jury Trials Workgroup

Beth Bloom has been selected to participate in a Remote Jury Trials Workgroup commissioned by the Washington State Supreme Court to determine best practices for remote jury trials during the pandemic. The committee published a guide titled “Best Practices in Response to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ),” which addresses questions on determining whether or not to hold remote jury trials, technology, logistics related to juror examination and evidence presentation, and deliberations and returning a verdict.
