Beth Bloom recently co-authored the article “Nine Mistakes to Avoid in Remote Video Jury Trials,” for the March 2021 issue of the Washington State Association for Justice’s monthly publication Trial News. The article covers how to effectively conduct a remote jury trial, which includes tips to keeping jurors engaged through visual aids, utilizing technical equipment to ensure good video and sound quality for the virtual courtroom as well as for remote witnesses, and being mindful of the camera and microphone when others are speaking.
