We’re pleased to share that our founder and principal attorney, Beth Bloom, will be participating in the Federal Bar Association’s annual Litigation Academy on November 8 and 9, 2023. Beth will serve as a practitioner panelist, contributing to a discussion on presenting effective opening statements in trial.

This event, held at the Tacoma Federal Courthouse, is a valuable opportunity for legal professionals to engage with and learn from experienced trial lawyers and industry experts. Beth’s involvement will provide a practical perspective, based on her extensive experience in the field, to those looking to enhance their litigation skills. Join Beth and other esteemed legal professionals for an insightful exchange of knowledge and expertise during this event. The panel on November 8 features Robert Flennaugh, Prof. Bill Bailey, Beth Bloom, and Paul Taylor. Lawyers of all experience levels may apply to participate as Fellows in the two-day event. Each year the Academy focuses on a different area of trial practice: openings, closings, or witness examinations. Fellows will present mock Opening Statements to an esteemed panel of federal judges, including Judges Estudillo, Chun, Martinez, and Whitehead.
